My Life at Li Po Chun United World College of Hong Kong 2011-2013

Wish Fulfilled

By now, universities are requesting first admission interviews and are sending out rejection and acceptance letters. One of my co-years – Colin from Hong Kong – was rejected by the London School of Economics (LSE), one of the best universities worldwide, in November last year. Applying for Mathematics and Economics, Colin was told that the Admissions Tutor had felt that Colin didn’t demonstrate sufficient interest in these subjects in his personal statement. The Admissions Administrator ended his email with the words: “I am sorry we have had to disappoint you in your application to the School and wish you every success in your future studies elsewhere.” Yesterday, Colin replied to this rejection letter: Screen Shot 2013-01-18 at 09.53.46

Congratulations, Colin!
