This evening, it’s finally time for MESA – the Middle-East-Southasian Cultural Evening! Everybody is already really excited for the show and busy looking for costumes and outfits for tonight’s dinner. The themes for the different blocks are historical figures, thousand and one nights, moguls and Bollywood. I already know all about my costume, and I’m also helping a first year student from Hong Kong with a Gandhi outfit and sewing a MESA dress for my roomie Nancy – but I won’t reveal any details yet! The students from MESA have lanced a promotion campaign for their cultural evening on Facebook, very similar to the one ECE had: they painted their flags onto their faces and use them as profile pictures –
I really can’t wait for this evening. The show will definitely be amazing; the LPC students have put so much work into it! Also, this was really hard to organize, as all Secondyears have so much to do for the IB at the moment, that they barely have time for anything else! So, we must congratulate them all on their wonderful time and stress management skills, and I’m sure we can look forward to a great show tonight!
