Our cultural evenings clearly bring up some of the best events on campus. There are only five days left till MESA, the Middle-East-South-Asian Cultural Evening, and one of the run-up events that took place this weekend was the legendary Holi Festival, the Hindu festival of colors. Originally marking the triumph of the ‘good’ over the ‘bad’, Holi is today celebrated in order to bridge social gaps and refresh friendships and relationships. Music, dance, laughter, joy and lots of colors – Holi has it all! Our LPC MESA group organized the big event in the courtyard, starting at five in the afternoon. When all buckets, originally filled with colorful water and paint, were eventually empty, nobody had stayed clean. Here are some impressions of the LPC Holi Celebration – and you can also watch a video of it on Youtube!
